This is the posted Request for Proposals for eRate services the Charles City Community School District is seeking for the funding year 2013-2014.

Telecommunication Services:
  • Cellular Service (470 App #: 290220001076217) - seeking cellular service and data plans for at least 6 administrative / director cell phones that have great coverage in and around the Charles City area.
  • Long Distance Phone Service (470 App #: 290220001076217) - seeking Long Distance telephone service for the 27 district phone lines or equivalent PRI/DSS line if applicable
  • Local Phone Service (470 App #: 290220001076217) - seeking local telephone service for 27 district phone lines unless we can find an affordable solution to consolidate these lines into just 5 local phone lines and add a PRI or DSS phone line to the district telephone system.
  • Integrated Services Digital Network (470 App #: 774780001077225) - seeking either a 23 channel PRI or DSS whatever is applicable in our Charles City area that does not require back hauling our phone numbers through a separate prefix and at least 2 blocks of DID's in succession to go along with it if not more
Internet Access:
  • Internet Access (470 App #: 290220001076217) - seeking at least 70 MB and up to 100 MB of Ethernet circuit of internet data connectivity and ISP that the circuit is connected to.  Please price out each increment available so we can decide what is affordable.
  • Web Hosting (470 App #: 290220001076217) - seeking Web hosting services for the school district's web pages.
Internal Connections:
  • Servers (470 App #: 938410001131021) - seeking two servers to host our email, DNS, and DHCP services for the district.
  • Software (470 App #: 938410001131021) - seeking operating system software, email server software, and Client Access Licenses to be installed on the two proposed servers
